I think it’s more than fair to assume that the majority of us have believed in unicorns at some point (excuse the terrible, unintentional wordplay, I really didn’t plan this).

When Partyfufu reached out to me asking if I would be willing to do a sponsored Instagram post featuring their Unicorn Party Supplies Set, I immediately jumped at this opportunity because:

  1.  As a small blogger, paid sponsored posts are hard to come by so you do what you gotta do to help rack up some coin (as long as you stay within your morals, you know), and
  2. WHO DOESN’T LOVE UNICORNS!?
UNICORN BIRTHDAY PARTY SUPPLIES BALLOONS AND DECORATIONS FOR KIDS BIRTHDAY (RAINBOW)

UNICORN BIRTHDAY PARTY SUPPLIES BALLOONS AND DECORATIONS FOR KIDS BIRTHDAY (RAINBOW), $19.99, partyfufu.com

The party supply set (above) retails for $19.99 and includes:

  • 2 pcs unicorn balloons 32 inch
  • 1 rainbow balloon
  • 4 heart (star) foil balloons
  • 18 latex balloons
  • 1 gold glitter unicorn horn headband
  • Fill-in birthday party invitations

The quality of the decorations was rather impressive and well worth the money, not to mention just how stinkin’ cute they were. My favorite item in the set had to be the unicorn horn headband because WHO DOESN’T ever think about being a unicorn, right?

Unicorn party photoshoot

A quick selfie with Lindsay, my amazing photographer.

I asked my friend and aspiring photographer Lindsay to help me conceptualize a concept/layout for a photo shoot featuring these items and in the long run, we ended up having a total blast throughout the entire shoot. We also bought some fun, colorful cupcakes (they didn’t even make it into any of the photos, oops) to simply celebrate the fact that we had thrown a little impromptu unicorn party in my living room.

Although we didn’t inflate every balloon that I was sent, it was a fun little project for us to work on and it really challenged our creative visions to work with the small space we had and to make it look bigger than it actually was (I still live in a dorm room so yes, it was a challenge).

Plus it gave me a chance to become closer with Lindsay and help her put her work out into the world/ start up her portfolio. (She’ll have an official website and business Instagram up soon, I’ll keep you guys posted!)

Here are my favorite shots from our shoot!
