Review: SunnestLED String Lights

Untitled design (6)

If college living has taught me anything, it’s that fairy lights really tie any room together.

I’m always on the lookout for affordable, yet high-quality lights because frankly, I was lacking in the decor department when it came to my actual living space.

Luckily for yours truly, SunnestLED reached out to me and offered to send me some of their lights in exchange for a post on my Instagram. Although I only was sent product to post on my Instagram, I figured that it’d be nice to tell all my lovely readers what I like and don’t like about this product.

PROS:

  • Easy to hang
  • Remote included
  • 16 color varieties

CONS:

  • Wires tangle easily
  • Bulbs don’t last for a long period of time
    • They became really dim and not all of the color options worked after only ONE WEEK of use
  • Remote glitches

I really, REALLY wanted to love this product but the short duration of the time and intensity of which the lights actually work was a major turn-off. For the price of $13.00 USD on Amazon, you can find better lights at a similar price point.

Hopefully Sunnest will see this and begin to make changes to their products. I would rather pay more for a better quality LED Fairy light setup. As for their other products, I have yet to try them so I don’t want to completely bash this brand just because of the single product that I have received because that would be rather crass and unfair of me.

If you have any suggestions for lights for my dorm room, please feel free to leave them down in the comment section 🙂

Follow your dreams (and me too, please!)

I hope they find a way to make the lights last longer, they would be really useful in any room and it’s great that you can chance the colours!
