As a young blogger, I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands, but never actually attend a brand event… until around mid to late September.
A representative from an up and coming black-owned fashion brand by the name of Lemonade Champagne reached out to me, extending an invitation to their first pop-shop in Boca Raton.
Lemonade Champagne, as described on their website, “…is a French-influenced brand that offers versatile day into night pieces, designed to simply romance your wardrobe”.
I was fortunate enough to witness that the brand does, in fact, live by this statement. I found myself thinking of all the different ways I could transform these pieces as the day goes on.
Each piece, regardless of the collection it originates from, is made of such high-quality, luxurious fabric and material, at a reasonable price range too.
It was impossible for me not to fall in love with most, if not all of these pieces. My personal favorite from the fall preview is “Gracie”, a two-piece set which includes an elastic tube top and a midi skirt in a seriously adorable lemon tree pattern. click here to shop it.
As for the event itself, it was a leisurely afternoon filled with tasty hors-d’oeuvres (plenty of options to choose from, so your friendly pescatarian blogger could eat too!), fabulous drinks and plenty of cute photo ops!
I adored how intimate the pop-up shop space was, as it was held poolside in one of Boca Raton’s most beautiful neighborhoods.
In all honesty, with this being the first time I was attending an event as a blogger, I was very nervous to talk to other people as I found that I was not only the youngest person there but one of the only local bloggers too. Luckily, my awkwardness didn’t get in the way of meeting all of the other attendees as the day progressed and I began to converse more with other guests.
All in all, I’m very excited to see what the future holds for Lemonade Champagne, as I’ve been informed that another South-Florida based pop-up shop of theirs is in the works. I plan on purchasing the Gracie set VERY soon as I’m always on the lookout for something bright and fresh to wear.
